Where do Guests park?
Parking on the street for extended times is illegal and against neighborhood by-laws. It's dangerous if a car blocks the traffic's view of an inattentive pet or child. Illegally parked cars can receive association warnings, traffic tickets or tow truck visits. When you have more guests than your driveway can accommodate, on street parking is as permitted by ERBP City Ordinances.
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle, or permit a vehicle registered in his name to be stopped, standing or parked, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with law or the directions of a law enforcement officer or traffic-control device, or parking-control device in any of the following places: in front of or blocking a public or private driveway, upon the traveled portion of any roadway, except to yield to other traffic, or as directed by a signal or sign, or as directed by a law enforcement officer, on the grass in a yard between the residence and the street of any lot
Sections 11:418 and 11:440 (City and Parish) provide that it is a violation to park in a roadway other than parallel with the edge of the roadway, headed in the direction of lawful traffic movement, and more than 18 inches away from the curb or edge of the roadway.
Can I Park in the Alleyway?
Parking vehicles in alleyways is strictly prohibited. If you temporarily extended parking to your alley grass or to the outer limits of your driveway, please make sure other residents opposite them are able to easily enter and exit their driveways. Vehicles stopping directly on the alleyways are only permitted for fire, police, emergency medical services, transporting handicapped persons, and convenience for delivery and pick-up of persons and goods requiring vehicles not to be left unmanned for any unreasonable time. The city of Baton Rouge, Code of Ordinances Section 11:421 also applies, and states: No person shall stand or park any vehicle or permit any vehicle registered in his name to be standing or parked upon a street, highway or within an alley in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less than ten (10) feet of the width of the street, highway or alleyway for free movement of vehicular traffic or blocking the driveway entrance to any abutting property.
What are Garbage Days and rules for disposal?
Trash pickup is on Monday and Thursday mornings. Trash/Recycling containers are not to be stored or kept where they are visible from the street, porch, or lawn. Garbage cans should be removed from the street the same day as collections.
What are rules regarding residents changes to properties, i.e.: fences, construction additions, etc. ?

What about pets?
Pets must be on a leash if outside of a fenced area at all times. Please do not let your pets roam the neighborhood unattended. Pets must not be curbed in the area around or adjacent to the mailbox area. If you walk your pet in the neighborhood please carry a bag to pick up their poop, no one wants to step in poop in their yard especially if they do not have a pet. Excessive barking or any nuisances pets should be reported to Animal Control 225-774-7700.
Rules regarding the lake?
Please see our "Lake Life" tab for our general lake rules & use regulations, as well as any issues present at the lake before visiting. The lake is to be enjoyed by residents, but please be courteous and pick up all trash and debris in the area when leaving. There are to be no motorized vehicles used in the lake or on the grounds other than maintenance utility vehicles.
What are the rules for Common Ground Use?
Common ground is for the use of homeowners. No motorized vehicles are allowed on common ground. There should be no continued parking on the common grounds. Drivers will be held responsible If any damage is done to the grounds (mud holes or ruts). Do not leave any trash or debris after your use of the common ground area. There is to be no dumping of grass clippings, leaves, branches, etc. in the common ground areas.
What about 3 wheelers and other motorized recreational vehicles?
Mini-motorcycles, 3 and 4 wheelers, and other motorized recreational vehicles are prohibited from use on alleyways and common ground areas.
